How does parking work at Hotel Botanika?
We have a limited number of parking spaces at the hotel (only 3) that can be pre-booked for SEK 200 per night, subject to availability. The parking is valid from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 the next day. For guests who do not manage to get a space with us, there is also municipal parking opposite the hotel on Skolgatan, fee 08:00-24:00, Monday-Saturday. What is included in the buffet breakfast at Hotel Botanika?
Breakfast at Hotel Botanika is always included in your stay and is served Monday - Friday from 06:30 - 10:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 - 10:30. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with a wide range of savoury options such as freshly baked rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, sandwich spreads and fruit. We also offer our ever-popular shakshuka, American pancakes with jam and cream, and healthy options like yoghurt and ginger shots. How does the cleaning work for longer stays?
In order to reduce our environmental impact, we offer cleaning on request during longer stays. If you require cleaning, please contact the reception of Hotel Botanika before 10:00 on the same day. Thank you for helping us contribute to a more sustainable future!
What are the check-in times and can I have a later check-out?
Check-in at Hotel Botanika is possible from 15:00, and check-out is until 11:00. Should you need a later check-out, we can arrange it for a fee of SEK 150. Would you like to book a later check-out? Please speak to us at reception or contact us in advance and we will arrange it. Arriving earlier than check-in time? No problem! We offer free luggage storage at the reception so you can start exploring the city while waiting for your room.
Can I take my dog to Botanika?
Yes, we love dogs and are happy to welcome them at Hotel Botanika! We are a dog-friendly hotel in Uppsala. Pre-booking is required for dog-friendly rooms - contact us in advance and we will arrange it. There is an additional fee of 250 SEK per stay for dogs. We look forward to welcoming both you and your four-legged friend!
Are there TVs in the rooms?
Yes, we offer modern Chromecast TVs and Wi-Fi in all our hotel rooms. You can easily stream your favourite show directly from your mobile phone to the TV via our free Wi-Fi. How do I get to Hotel Botanika in Uppsala?
If you are travelling by train or bus to Uppsala, Hotell Botanika is only 13 minutes walking distance from Uppsala Central Station. Follow Bangårdsgatan down to Svartbäcksgatan and continue through the city centre. When you reach Skolgatan, you will find us on the right. For an even more convenient option, buses run from the central station at frequent intervals - get off at the Skolgatan stop and you're just a stone's throw from the hotel. What amenities are available in the rooms?
At Hotel Botanika we offer a selection of amenities to make your stay comfortable. In your room you will find soap, shampoo and conditioner. Do you need a hairdryer or iron? You can borrow them free of charge at the reception. We also sell toothbrushes and other toiletries at the reception. Please contact us if you have any questions.
What is your cancellation policy?
At Hotel Botanika, you can cancel your reservation according to the policies stated at the time of booking. If you book directly via our website, email or phone, you can cancel free of charge until 12:00 on the day of arrival. However, if you book through an external channel, their cancellation policy applies and cancellation must be made through the same channel in which the booking was made. What payment methods do you accept?
Hotel Botanika is a cashless hotel, which means that we do not accept cash payments. Instead, we offer a range of other payment options, such as credit and debit cards, as well as mobile payment solutions. For more information on payment options, or if you have any questions, please contact reception and we will be happy to help you.
What happens if I forget something at Hotel Botanika?
If you have left something with us, we will keep it for up to three months, with the exception of toiletries, hygiene products, food and underwear, which we do not keep for hygiene reasons. After three months, forgotten items are donated to charity. We do not send lost property, but you are welcome to collect it yourself or send a courier. Our reception is manned around the clock and is happy to help!
