Terms and conditions for hotel botanika

 

Booking and confirmation

A reservation becomes binding once it has been confirmed and the guest has received a reservation number, which can be given verbally, in writing or digitally. In the case of online bookings, a confirmation will be sent but if the guest does not receive this, the hotel must be notified immediately. Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, the guest is responsible for checking that all information is correct. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the information on the booking confirmation is correct. Hotel Botanika reserves the right to make errors in interpretation.

 

Privacy policy and consent

Genom att boka en övernattning, köpa ett presentkort eller skicka personlig information till Hotell Botanika samtycker gästen till vår integritetspolicy och webbplatsvillkor. Gäster kan när som helst återkalla sitt samtycke men bör vara medvetna om att detta inte påverkar aktiviteter som kan utföras utan samtycke (till exempel tillhandahållande av tjänster som redan har beställts). Återkallande av samtycke kan innebära att vissa tjänster inte fungerar som avsett eller att Hotell Botanika inte kan tillhandahålla dem. Vid avbokning till följd av återkallat samtycke gäller de bekräftade avbokningsreglerna.

 

Complaints and liability

In case of any complaint, the guest should immediately inform the reception. If Hotel Botanika is unable to provide a room that corresponds to the booking confirmation, the guest is entitled to an equivalent or better room in the hotel or in another hotel of a similar standard, free of charge. Guests are responsible for any damage they or their visitors cause to the hotel. If a guest or their visitor causes damage or disruption during their stay that results in future loss of income for the hotel, the guest is liable to compensate any losses.

 

Payment and cancellation conditions

  • Guaranteed booking: All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Non-refundable bookings are only guaranteed once the full amount has been paid. If a reservation is not guaranteed, Hotel Botanika reserves the right to cancel it without informing the guest.
  • Cancellation and rebooking: The possibility to cancel or rebook depends on the conditions of the price range chosen at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the guest to read the price description applicable to the booking in question. Flexible bookings can be cancelled free of charge until 12:00 on the day of arrival. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. Non-refundable reservations can be cancelled but are non-refundable and cannot be rebooked. In case of cancellation, the guest must receive a cancellation number as confirmation that the cancellation has been made correctly.
  • Early check-out: If a guest chooses to depart earlier than planned, this must be notified by 18:00 on the day before departure. Otherwise, the guest may be charged the same fee as for a late cancellation.

 

Alla bokningar måste garanteras med giltigt kreditkort. Bokningar som inte återbetalas garanteras när bokningen har betalats i sin helhet. Om bokningen inte garanteras förbehåller sig Hotell Botanika rätten att avboka utan att informera gästen.

 

Changes to a booking

Unless otherwise stated in the price description, the reservation can be changed until 18:00 the day before arrival. In the event of a change of date, length of stay or number of guests, the price will be adjusted according to the current price at the time of the change. It is not allowed to transfer a reservation to another person or to let someone else stay in the hotel room without the hotel's authorisation. Non-refundable bookings cannot be changed.

 

Arrival and departure

  • Check in: Guests have access to their booked hotel rooms from 15:00.
  • Check-out: Check-out must be no later than 11:00, unless otherwise stated in the rate description.

 

Use of hotel rooms

  • Minors under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay at Hotel Botanika without an adult present.
  • The number of guests in the room must not exceed the number indicated at the time of booking.
  • The hotel room may only be used for accommodation and not for other purposes.
  • Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay in our dormitories, unless they are part of a group that has booked the entire dormitory and are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

 

Other rules

  • Smoking: Smoking is not allowed on the premises of Hotel Botanika. Guests who violate this rule may be required to reimburse the hotel for cleaning costs.
  • Pets: En extra avgift tillkommer för medhavda husdjur. Gäster måste informera Hotell Botanika vid bokningstillfället om de planerar att ta med sig ett husdjur. Husdjur är endast tillåtna i rummet om detta har angivits i bokningen.
  • Luggage storage: På Hotell Botanika finns möjlighet att hyra bagageförvaringslådor. Kontakta receptionen för mer information och priser.

 

Security

Detaljerad säkerhetsinformation finns på hotellrumsdörren. Det är gästens ansvar att själv uppmärksamma var nödutgångar, larmknappar och brandsläckare är placerade. Vid akuta nödsituationer, kontakta receptionen eller ring 112. För mer information om Hotell Botanikas brandskydd, vänligen kontakta receptionen på plats eller via e-mail.

 

Force majeure

Strikes, lockouts, fires, explosions, war or similar war conditions, significant supply restrictions or other circumstances beyond the control of Hotel Botanika entitle the hotel to cancel the booking without obligation to pay damages.

 

Dispute resolution

Disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved in Swedish courts. Hotel Botanika is a member of Visita and has undertaken to follow decisions made by Visita's responsibility committee. If Hotel Botanika does not approve a complaint from a guest, the dispute can be reviewed by the General Complaints Board (ARN).
